The Charlotte office of Fisher Phillips seeks an employment litigation/workplace safety associate with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and representing clients during government investigations. Prior litigation experience, either civil or criminal is required. Experience in employment litigation is preferred, but not required. Candidates with substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, especially workplace safety, will be considered. Previous work experience in the construction, mining, or manufacturing industries is a plus. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Must be admitted or eligible for admission in North Carolina.
